Honey, Lemon & Ginger

Now it's getting colder, here's a good tip for guarding against colds.
I use a wonderful infusion as my first drink of each day – Honey, Lemon & Ginger.
I have not had a cold in the last 8 years whilst taking this on a daily basis … the only exception was when on holiday and I didn’t have the facilities to make it!

Ingredients:

Method:
Peel and finely slice about 1” of ginger, place in your mug and add boiling water (leaving a space for the other ingredients), add three teaspoons of the lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey, stir and let infuse for five minutes.
You get a lovely taste as well as feeling the ginger permeate through your body.

Tip
I have found an ice tray that takes exactly 3 teaspoon, so I squeeze 3 or 4 lemons, pour into the ice tray and put in the freezer. So each morning I just add the lemon ice-cube to the drink instead of squeezing each day and wondering what to do with the other juice.
